Rogers Recreational Dance Company
The Rogers Recreational Dance Company is more for "fun" where dancers take their regular classes and do not have to meet the high standard or rigorous schedule as the Rogers Dance Company
Rogers Dance Company
Students participating in our Rogers Dance Company develop skills at an accelerated rate. These companies give a student the opportunity to perform at many different levels which include local performance, regional and national competitions, as well as dance conventions.
Rogers Dance Company dancers train 2-3 days per week and rehearse additional days. Students in the dance company level classes have the opportunity to train on at a higher level with other like students to obtain more superior technical training as well as artistically.
Our dancers presentation and choreography has made our dance company champions both regionally as well as nationally. Our esteemed Rogers Dance Company choreographer has won numerous choreography awards. In addition many of our dancers have won various dance titles and thousands of dollars in scholarship monies.
No matter where we are we always receive positive comments on how well rounded our dancers are in all dance areas, their technical expertise and artistic abilities.
Rogers has produced some of the finest dancers in Western Pennsylvania some of which are currently dancing professionally. Many talent scholarships have been obtained to various higher learning institutions such as Point Park University's Dance Program, summer intensives, as well as workshop scholarships.
The Rogers Dance Company is like one big family, having fun with winning a lot of awards and trophies. With all the hard work and lessons learned in team work along with great work ethics these are lessons that will carry each and every dancer through their lives no matter what their career path may lead.
